Do I need to tell you about my pre-existing medical conditions for travel insurance to Turkey?
We want to make sure the cover you have is just right for you, so it’s really important to tell us about any pre-existing health conditions you have.
Don’t worry, as travel insurance specialists, we understand health is a sensitive area. We’ll just ask a few questions to find out how your medical conditions affect your daily life. We’ll never rush you.
Where is Turkey for travel insurance?
For travel insurance, the region your destination is listed as will depend on the level of risk. We see Turkey as no more of a risk to travel to than Europe and surrounding areas.
If you’re buying an Annual Multi-Trip policy online, select the second option of wider European cover, to include Turkey in your travel plans. For single trips, just let us know you’re going to Turkey.
Is it safe to travel to Turkey?
Most holidays in Turkey are safe, but it’s really important to check with the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) to make sure they’ve given the green light to the area you’re travelling to.
Some parts of Turkey are not safe for tourists due to the threat of terrorism.
For extra peace of mind, our Catastrophe cover offers protection if you are unable to reach or stay in your booked accommodation due to terrorism or natural disasters during your trip (avaliable on Classic and Deluxe policies only.)
Which Turkey travel insurance policy is best for me?
If your Turkish holiday is a one-off, our Single Trip Travel Insurance policy may be just right, as there’s no upper age limit and you and your family can be covered for trips up to 104 days long. It covers you for over 80 activities, including sports and snorkelling, too.
If you’re planning on travelling more than once this year, our Annual Multi-Trip policy may be a better choice. Still not sure? Give us a call to talk it through today.
