Their over 50s policy is designed to provide some peace of mind at a very difficult time by helping pay towards the cost of your funeral. If you are a UK resident aged between 50 and 80, then you’re guaranteed to be accepted, as no medical tests are required.
Over 50s life cover with OneFamily is a policy that gives cover for the whole of life, and will pay out in the event of a serious illness, terminal illness or death, subject to meeting the terms of the qualifying period.
Acceptance is guaranteed as long as you're a UK resident aged between 50 and 80 years old.
You won't have to pay for your cover once you reach age 90, but your cover will continue for life.
If you die or are seriously ill after two years of starting
your policy, this is what your family will get:
toward your funeral, provided by Golden Charter
Payable after death.
(less any serious illness benefit) if you’ve been given a terminal diagnosis with 12 months to live
where new serious illness has been diagnosed after policy has been in force for 2 years
Unlike similar products on the market, OneFamily's Over 50s Life Cover offers serious and terminal illness benefit as standard, after the policy has been in place for two years.
