Top holiday hotspots for 2015 revealed
A study that asked holidaymakers what their favourite trips would be in 2015 has been revealed by the Daily Express.
Here we take you through some of the destinations that make up the list of top 10 places to visit in 2015.
City breaks are a popular holiday choice for people of all ages and the study reveals that a city break in Spain is high on the bucket list for travellers in 2015. Once basic over 65 travel insurance or multi-trip insurance has been purchased, the Daily Express article reveals many will head on city breaks to the likes of Barcelona, Granada and Bilbao in addition to that of the Canaries and Mallorca.
The country’s beautiful beaches in the south, down by Phuket, and the elephant treks through jungles that are on offer in the north of the country make Thailand one of the must-visit places in 2015. Despite Thailand being named as one of the world’s dangerous places to visit recently, the report states travellers will not be put off by the recent bad press.
Iceland boasts the Northern Lights and beautiful volcanic landscapes, which is why the country has seen a huge rise in the number of tourists visiting the country in recent years.
Taking a short-break in England doesn’t just mean you can get hold of cheap UK travel insurance, but also means that you don’t have to go through the hassle of visiting busy airports. Boasting destinations such as Cornwall, the Lake District, Oxfordshire and London should also mean that England’s feature in the list of top places to visit in 2015 should come as no surprise.
Offering visitors fantastic architecture and history with attractions such as the Prague Castle and the King Charles Bridge, the Czech capital is expected to be one of the most popular holiday destinations for travellers next year.
Other destinations that featured in the top 10 list included Italy, Egypt, Scotland, Germany and Wales.
