Travel insurance that’s with you all the way - so you’ll be ready to roll, wherever your holiday takes you.
That’s Travel Reassurance!
As long as you can answer yes to all three statements below, you should be able to get an Avanti Travel Insurance policy:
✔ I am fit and able to undertake my planned trip.
✔ I am NOT travelling against the advice of a doctor (or would be travelling against the advice of a doctor had you sought their advice.)
✔ I am NOT travelling with the intention of having medical treatment, tests or consultation abroad.
If you have answered no to any of the above, we unfortunately can’t cover you with travel insurance. You can contact The British Insurance Brokers Association (BIBA) who may be able to assist you in finding travel insurance that can cover you.

As long as you’ve had the vaccines you’ve been offered for Covid-19, you should be covered. If you haven’t been offered both doses yet or you’re medically exempt then you can also be covered.
If you’ve refused any doses of the vaccine or haven’t been able to have a dose you’ve been offered, you won’t be covered.
It’s important you tell us about any pre-existing medical conditions you have, or have had in the last two years, so you’re properly covered by your travel insurance.
If you forget to tell us any of your medical history, this could make your policy invalid if you needed to claim further down the line.
If you’ve ever had any heart or circulatory conditions, or symptoms, you need to let us know.
If you have any undiagnosed symptoms, we can offer you travel insurance but can’t cover you for anything related to any of your pre-existing health conditions. Don’t worry, we’d still be able to cover you for things like lost luggage, flight delays and medical emergencies not related to any of your pre-existing health conditions or undiagnosed symptoms.
The level of cover you can get will depend on where you are in your diagnosis and treatment journey. To get your quote, give a member of our friendly team a call today.

If your surgery or treatment isn’t listed in the above table, we won’t be able to cover you for any medical expenses, including the costs of getting you back to the UK from your destination that was related to your health condition. If you had an unrelated medical emergency, then you would still be covered.
If your recent surgery or treatment is listed above, we can cover you with travel insurance (excluding medical expenses and repatriation for the condition you had surgery for.)
