Ticketing agreement for Emirates
Tourists visiting the African country of Zambia will find it much easier to do so following the signing of an interline agreement between Emirates and Proflight Zambia that will make travel in the nation much simpler.
The most popular attractions in the holiday hotspot, such as the Victoria Falls, will now be accessible with a single ticket purchase and smooth connections from any of the Emirates destinations worldwide.
Specifically, visitors to the country will be able to purchase joint Emirates-Proflight Zambia itineraries and will be issued with a single combined ticket, ensuring seamless connections between flights.
Safari-goers will also be pleased to learn that they will be able to book straight through to Mfuwe to access the internationally renowned South Luangwa National Park, where they’ll be able to spot the Big Five.
Those travelling to Zambia on business are not left out as they can travel direct from Lusaka to the Copper belt city of Nola on specially scheduled Proflight services thanks to the arrangement.
Following the announcement, Orhan Abbas, Emirates senior vice-president for Latin America, Central and Southern Africa, commented that the ticketing agreement would make exploring Zambia easier than ever before.
“What’s more, customers will enjoy even better value for money when they purchase their Emirates and Proflight Zambia flights together,” he added.
Captain Philip Lemba, Proflight director of government and industry affairs, was equally as excited with the agreement.
“Emirates is one of the most admired airlines in the world, with an extensive global network. This agreement will undoubtedly provide new travel opportunities for their customers, as well as put Proflight and Zambia firmly on the international aviation map,” he said.
While such arrangements between flight providers can make the world feel smaller and travel simpler, it is important to secure adequate travel insurance when you are so far away from home.
